About our services

Community rehabilitation day services support in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft and one to one outreach support.

Our Gorleston Centre closed at the end of April 2022 and in its place we are offering our services from venues in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.

Group sessions in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft

We run sessions at The King’s Centre in Great Yarmouth (30 Queen Anne's Rd, Great Yarmouth NR31 0LE) on a Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

We run sessions at the Kirkley Centre in Lowestoft (154 London Road South, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 0AZ) on a Tuesday.

Our morning sessions are 9:30am-12:30pm and afternoon sessions are 13:30pm-16:30pm, with the option of attending a half day or a full day 9:30-16:30.

Our team of Occupational Therapists and Key Support Workers will work with you to identify your personal aims and what you would like to get out of attending Headway. The types of sessions available include:

  • IT skills
  • Gentle exercise
  • Memory
  • Communication
  • Creative sessions
  • Independent Living Skills

One to one support at home or in the community

We will work with you at home or in your local area. We will support you to achieve a specific goal, maintain independence, or to do activities that are important to you.

Our one to one support is not a home care service, so we are unable to help with personal care.
