Get to know Hayley
Hayley is the OT Project Manager for the ABI Connections project. Hayley's day-to-day duties can vary from supporting and managing her team, to developing and promoting the project, to supporting new clients and their families referred into the project adjusting to the impact of brain injury. This support could be emotional, educational or practical support via an in-reach visit into the NHS hospital clinical setting, at home or remotely and connecting people to support services post-discharge.
Hayley also provides support to clients and their families at our free peer support and carers groups. She is involved in and enjoys promotion and delivering education of brain injury through our living with brain injury courses and has previously provided a teaching presentation to the UEA social work students. Hayley enjoys how varied her role is and the positive impact she can make to both clients and their families lives.
Hayley previously worked for the NHS in the field of Occupational Therapy for 21 years with experience of working in both an acute and community therapy setting in both Essex and Norwich. Hayley was fortunate enough to train as an OT while working as an OT assistant prior to graduating.
