As I walk across the bridge from life before, to life now with an ABI,
I will falter, I will stumble, I will pause, I will stop.
I will get angry, I will cry, I will get frustrated, I will get anxious.
I’ve lost what I used to take for granted.
However I will understand and manage my injury, I will cope with the setbacks.
I will make progress towards this new life, I will enjoy life.
I will cross the bridge.
