The third annual Active Norfolk Boccia open tournament took place on Friday 20 October 2017 at the University of East Anglia’s Sportspark. Played under Boccia International Sports Federation rules, teams from each of Headway Norfolk & Waveney’s centers entered the all day tournament and for the third year in a row our Norwich Centre team was successful.
Teams from different locations and organisations across the county took part including from;
Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind
Boccia is just one of a number of therapeutic activities run across Headway Norfolk & Waveney centres, providing opportunities for those affected by a brain injury or stroke to regain confidence and motor skills.
