AVM is a rare congenital disorder and it is very dangerous if left untreated. She had an AVM in her cerebellum which burst causing a painful stroke. Her speech and walking were badly affected, however after much neuro-rehabilitation involving speech therapy and physical therapy she was able to speak, walk and even run again. You can read more of Jessica's story here. Please do pass on her fund-raising efforts to anybody you know who may wish to support.
We would like to say a great big thank you to Hannah for her efforts & to her support team, led by her sister Hannah and we wish all three of you the very best of luck for your run.
