Responding to an invitation from one of our clients Mike Palmer, pictured alongside Wendy, she was keen to better understand our place in the health and social care pathway. Wendy was shown around our centre by Mike and centre manager, Chris Clark, meeting a number of clients and getting a very real sense of the work that we do. We are grateful for the time taken by Wendy, understanding each other and learning together, we will improve the pathways of care for those whose lives are impacted by a brain injury or stroke.
'Thank you, Mike and Chris, for sharing your life-changing experiences of living with an acquired brain injury, and the particular challenge obtaining the support you needed from the health and social care system. I learned a lot. Impressive to see what Headway Norfolk & Waveney is doing.' - Wendy Thomson
