It was a scorching day at Sandringham Flower Show on Wednesday the 24th of July. There were so many beautiful gardens and displays, many of them in aid of local charities. Landscape gardener Jonny Baker and his family created a garden in aid of Headway Norfolk and Waveney. Each year, the Shone and Baker families' garden raises funds and awareness for a different charity, we were very grateful to be the chosen charity for 2019. Not only did the garden raise funds for Headway, it raised important awareness around the King’s Lynn Centre and there was an abundance of show attendees that wanted to find out more about the charity.
A huge thanks to the Shone and Baker family for creating such a beautiful garden on the day. As well as being supported by the Shone and Baker family, Headway Norfolk and Waveney owe a great big thank you to Liz and Mike Plumb for continuing to support the charity every year alongside their steam engines.
