We are recruiting for several roles at Headway Norfolk and Waveney

  

Occupational Therapist

Headway Norfolk and Waveney supports adults with acquired brain injury and those affected by conditions such as stroke and encephalitis to come to terms with their new circumstances, re-integrate into family and community life, and maximize their opportunities, choices and independence.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist or multiple Occupational Therapists to work a total of 20 hours a week, covering front line client facing work across Norfolk and Waveney. We welcome applications for job shares and can offer flexibility to our colleagues. Please specify on the application whether you are applying for the complete or partial hours.

Salary: £24,509 full time equivalent (£13,071 p/a based on 20 hours a week)

Holiday: 33 days (pro rata on a 37.5 hour working week) inc bank holidays

This is a hugely varied and rewarding role using core OT skills working one to one and with groups of clients. The role offers the opportunity to use your own initiative and support the development of the service as part of a committed team.

Rehabilitation Support Worker

Required in Norwich. Are you looking for a new direction with your career? Are you a people person, caring, compassionate, understanding, imaginative, friendly, creative, and adaptable? Do you have skills you would like to be able to share with others or have lived experience of disablitly.

Headway Norfolk and Waveney supports adults with acquired brain injury and those affected by conditions such as stroke and encephalitis to come to terms with their new circumstances, re-integrate into family and community life, and maximize their opportunities, choices and independence. We have a vacancy available for a part time Rehabilitation Support Worker in Norwich.

This is a varied role working as part of the Norwich team providing person centred day opportunities for people with acquired brain injury through group support, purposeful centre based activites and one to one outreach work in the community.

Pay: £9.30 Per hour. Hours: 6 hours per day, 30 hours per week, Mon-Fri.

Annual leave: 33 days including bank holidays pro rata.

Support and specialist training will be given.

The successful applicant will be required to carry out a range of duties including delivering person centred activities to meet client’s rehabilitation aims, providing personal care support and running the centre day to day. You must be able to travel to various locations in Norfolk and to people’s homes to suit the needs of the business. Trustee ‚Äď Fundraising Specialism

Will you join us as a trustee with a specialism in fundraising, to help Headway Norfolk and Waveney develop and grow?

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a motivated board, passionate about supporting people to achieve their potential following acquired brain injury.

Headway Norfolk and Waveney supports people’s independence, rehabilitation, re-ablement and wellbeing through providing services directly to people with acquired brain injury (ABI), their families, carers and the wider community.

Headway Norfolk and Waveney is at an exciting stage. There are opportunities for new initiatives and growth, as well as established services providing meaningful support.

Providing strategic oversight as part of the board, we are looking for someone to provide expertise and oversight in a non-executive capacity as we develop our fundraising function.

Time Commitment: Typically, around one day a month, including board meetings, sub-committee meetings and visiting our services.
