Lead the Future of Headway Norfolk and Waveney as Our Chair of Trustees

At Headway Norfolk and Waveney, we are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals affected by brain injury, whether through strokes, road traffic accidents, falls, or other causes. We offer crucial support services, helping individuals regain independence, build confidence, and improve their quality of life.

As we enter an exciting new phase of our journey, we are seeking a Chair of Trustees to provide strategic leadership, guide our Board, and work alongside our CEO to drive the organisation forward. This is a pivotal voluntary role in shaping the long-term sustainability and impact of our charity.

Why Join Us as Chair of Trustees?

Over the past three years, we have undergone significant modernisation, increasing both our income and the number of people we support. We now serve 169 clients and operate with an annual income of £1.2 million. However, like many charities, we face challenges such as rising operational costs and a competitive funding landscape. To navigate these challenges successfully, we need strong, visionary leadership at the governance level.

We are particularly keen to hear from those with skills in:

✔ Fundraising
✔ Operations and Service Design
✔ Health & social care
✔ Safeguarding
