Do you want to make a meaningful impact in your local community? Are you passionate about supporting people affected by brain injury? If so, we invite you to join Headway Norfolk and Waveney as a Trustee.

Why Become a Trustee?

For over 30 years, we have been at the forefront of providing essential support for individuals living with acquired brain injuries. Our services help people regain independence, build confidence, and access the support they need to rebuild their lives.

As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation. You will work alongside our dedicated leadership team to guide strategy, ensure financial stability, and advocate for our cause.

Our Trustees commit to:

✅ Attending four Board meetings per year (held quarterly)
✅ Participating in subcommittee meetings, as required
✅ Providing guidance and expertise in areas such as fundraising, finance, governance, health and social care
✅ Advocating for our mission and ensuring we meet our strategic goals

The typical time commitment is 5-8 hours per month.

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals with a variety of professional backgrounds, but we are particularly keen to hear from those with experience in:

✔ Fundraising
✔ Operations and Service Design
✔ Health & social care
✔ Safeguarding
