Get to know Ryan
Ryan is a key support worker and plays a crucial role at Headway Norfolk and Waveney by providing one-to-one assistance to individuals with brain injuries.
As the name suggests, a key support worker is a key member of the support team, responsible for developing and maintaining a supportive and enabling relationship with the service user. They work closely with the service user to develop a person-centered care plan that addresses their specific needs, goals, and aspirations. This may include assisting with personal care, medication management, daily living skills, and emotional support.
Ryan also leads sessions at our Day Service Centre and carries out outreach.
Before joining Headway Norfolk and Waveney, Ryan studied Health and Social Care at College.
"I enjoy supporting people to achieve their goals in any way I can, my motivations comes from clients enjoyment of sessions and seeing their improvement."
Ryan is very family orientated so loves to spend as much time as he can with his partner and son. Ryan is interested in most sports and love to watch on the TV when he gets a chance.
