Her previous roles include Interim Deputy CEO of UEA Students’ Union, where she led a team of over 50 staff in support of 17,000 students, and Head of Services at a national young women’s charity, where she oversaw 30 volunteer branches, three community projects, a nursery, and a supported housing unit for young mothers and their babies. Claire has also worked in statutory services at Norfolk County Council and in London, focusing on community partnerships and voluntary sector capacity building.
Reflecting on her appointment, Claire said:
"I am deeply honoured to have been appointed as the permanent CEO of Headway Norfolk and Waveney. This organisation has a powerful mission, and it has been a privilege to witness the life-changing impact of our work.
