Get Help and Support

Researchers

Headway Norfolk and Waveney is determined to make sure that those living with the impact of ABI, including families and carers get the best support possible. Research plays a vital part in helping shape service delivery, clinical guidance and best practice and Headway Norfolk and Waveney is keen to help support any research to further this work.

Headway Norfolk and Waveney is committed to ensuring that individuals affected by acquired brain injury (ABI), along with their families and carers, receive the highest level of support. Research plays a crucial role in shaping service delivery, clinical guidance, and best practices. Headway Norfolk and Waveney is proud to support research initiatives that further this important work.

If you are a researcher, we can assist by sharing relevant opportunities with our network where appropriate. Please review our Research Policy to understand how we work with academic and research institutions, as well as the guidelines we follow.

To request support for your research, please submit a detailed proposal in writing. Our policy outlines all the necessary information and requirements for consideration. If you have any questions, require ethical approval, or wish to partner with Headway Norfolk and Waveney on a research project, please email us at research@headway-nw.org.uk.

Please note that due to the high volume of inquiries, we may decline requests if the research is not specific to ABI, is not relevant to our network, or if we are already managing a significant number of research opportunities. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to exploring ways to advance ABI research together.
