Get to know Charlotte

Charlotte is an occupational therapist at Headway Norfolk and Waveney plays a vital role within the charity, helping individuals to regain and develop skills that are essential for everyday life.

Our team of occupational therapists are qualified health professional who works with individuals to help them achieve their goals and maintain independence in their daily lives. They assess a person's abilities and limitations and develop a personalised treatment plan that may include therapeutic activities, exercise programs, and environmental adaptations.

Before joining Headway Norfolk and Waveney, Charlotte worked as a support worker with young people with learning disabilities for seven years after doing her psychology degree. That is where she was introduced to an Occupational Therapist and decided that being a OT was what she wanted to do!

"I enjoy working for Headway as everyone is so lovely and passionate about brain injury. We all work together well to support our clients to fulfil their potential. I love running sessions as well as the peer and carers groups and meeting potential new clients and their families. I like to hear their stories and provide some support and hope for them going forwards in their brain injury journey."

In her leisure time, Charlotte likes to do various craft projects and enjoys swimming and walking. Charlotte also likes reading fantasy books and enjoys watching true crime documentaries; she find them fascinating!
