Headway Norfolk and Waveney, a leading organisation dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by brain injury, including stroke, is thrilled to announce the launch of its Legacy Programme, a significant initiative aimed at creating a lasting impact on the lives of those living with brain injuries.

Legacy giving, or gifts in wills, plays a crucial role in sustaining the vital work of charities like Headway Norfolk and Waveney. By including a charitable bequest in one's will, individuals can leave a lasting legacy that helps secure the future of organisations committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Tara Davis, Fundraising and Communications Manager at Headway Norfolk and Waveney, emphasises the importance of legacy giving, stating, "The Legacy Programme is a testament to the enduring impact individuals can have on the lives of those impacted by brain injury. By leaving a legacy to Headway Norfolk and Waveney, supporters become instrumental in ensuring ongoing support, rehabilitation, and advocacy for survivors, allowing them to rebuild their lives."

As part of the Legacy Programme, Headway Norfolk and Waveney is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Heritage Wills. Stuart Burrell, Managing Director at Heritage Wills, expresses his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "We are excited to be a part of the Headway Legacy Campaign and support their mission. By joining forces, we aim to contribute to their efforts in making a positive impact on the lives of individuals affected by brain injury, ensuring they receive the support and care they need. Together, we can make a difference and create a lasting legacy for those living with brain injuries."

The Heritage Wills partnership is a cornerstone of a three-year campaign focusing on preserving and promoting the heritage of brain injury survivors. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of legacy giving and inspire individuals to consider leaving a gift in their will to support the invaluable work of Headway Norfolk and Waveney.

Michael Kitching, CEO of Headway Norfolk and Waveney, added “We are truly grateful for the support of Heritage Wills in our Legacy Programme. Their commitment to our cause amplifies the impact we can make in the lives of those affected by brain injury. By joining forces with Heritage Wills, we are confident that we can raise awareness about the importance of legacy giving and inspire a community of supporters who believe in the transformative power of their contributions.”

In addition to Heritage Wills, Headway Norfolk and Waveney is pleased to announce a partnership with Make a Will Online, a leading platform providing accessible and convenient will-writing services. This partnership further underscores the organisation's commitment to making the legacy-giving process as straightforward as possible for its supporters.
