Hats for Headway is a fundraising campaign which takes place on the 19th May, during Acquired Brain Injury Awareness Week. The Campaign aims to support individuals with brain injuries and their families by encouraging people to wear hats of all shapes and sizes and to make a £3 donation to Headway Norfolk and Waveney, a charity that provides essential support and services to those impacted by brain injury.

The centre, located in the heart of Dereham, will offer vital support and care to those impacted by brain injury, helping them to rebuild their lives and regain independence.

Illustrator Megan was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension during her final year at university, a condition that affects only 1 in 100,000 people. After partial vision loss and support from Headway Norfolk and Waveney, as well as the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Megan has found her new method of working and has started creating brighter, bolder artworks that have amazed us all.

Through the Concussion Awareness Campaign, we hope to mitigate the deficit of information provided to those suffering from concussions in the region.
